Working visit by Attorney General’s Chamber of Brunei Darussalam o Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO)

22 June 2010 – The Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia once again received a working visit by the Attorney General’s Chamber of Brunei Darussalam to study on several functions of organizations in Malaysia that can be used as a model in their country.

The visit  was led by the Attorney General of Brunei Darussalam, Y.B. Datin Paduka Hajah Hayati followed by  Assistant Solicitor-General and Head of Registries & Trademarks, Naimah Ali; Acting Legal Draftsman, Alice Khan; Principal Counsel, Hajah Norhashimah and Senior Counsels, Zuraini Sharbawi, Hajah Rahayu and Hajah Norishan.

The purpose of the visit is to learn Malaysia’s point of views and MyIPO experience in administering the registration systems in intellectual property.

A short briefing on Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia – Issues and Challenges and PANTAS ONLINE SYSTEMS were given by En. Zulkarnain Muhammad, Head of Patent Examiner (Engineering) and Pn. Sharifah Nadiah Syed Sheikh, Manager of IT Department respectively.
