| Ministry of Justice, Vietnam visited | |
 10 Officials from the Ministry of Justice, Vietnam which was led by Mr. Tran Van Quang, the Director of Personnel, visited MyIPO on 13 October 2009. They were accompanied by the official from the Attorney General’s Chambers of Malaysia. The purpose of the visit was to gain knowledge about the Intellectual Property (IP) protection system as well as the development of IP Legislation in Malaysia.The delegates were briefed about the profile of MyIPO, the IP System in Malaysia, issues and challenges and the automation system of the IP Office by three senior officials of MyIPO.
At the end of the visit, Mr. Tran Van Quang expressed his appreciation and thanks to MyIPO for the good arrangement of their visit and looking forward for future co operations with MyIPO especially in terms of the development of the IP legislations in the ASEAN region.
