MyIPO Received Delegation From The Department of Economic, Planning and Development (JPKE), Prime's Minister Office of Brunei Darussalam

Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) kick starts the year 2010 by receiving delegates from the Department of Economic, Planning and Development (JPKE), Prime Minister Office of Brunei Darussalam on 13 January 2010. This is the first visit to MyIPO for JPKE Brunei.

The JPKE delegation was led by Director of Administration and Info-Communication Technology Tuan Hj Zulkifli Penglima Asgar Dato Paduka Hj Abdullah, Deputy Director of Policy and Coordination Pn. Hjh Hasmah Hj Yakob, Economic Officer Mr. Muhamad Azim Hj Abdul Hamid and Senior Examiner of Weight and Measures Ms. Dayangku Yusdinah Pengiran Hj Timbangan.

The purpose of this visit is to have an in-depth perspective of protecting intellectual property in Malaysia.
The delegates were briefed on the issues pertaining to Intellectual Property in Malaysia by Pn. Zaiton Nordin, Senior Patent Examiner from Patent Division and issues regarding to modernization of IP office by Ms. Dalilla Mohd Hamizin, Analyst from IT Department.
