29 Apr 2010 – The Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) receives yet another visit and this time form Intellectual Property Australia Office.

The delegation was led by the Director of IP Australia, Mr. Phillip Noonan accompanied by Assistant General Manager of Patents & PBR Group, Mr. Jagdish Bokil and Assistant Director International Policy & Cooperation, Ms. Kate Norris.

The working visit by IP Australia Office to MyIPO was part of a sharing knowledge on recent developments on current priorities in intellectual properties. It is also a part of exchange information between MyIPO and IP Australia Office on views of international intellectual property issues, work sharing initiatives between MyIPO and IP Australia, discussion on IP rights reform in Malaysia and Australia and exchange of information on intellectual property cooperation.

The delegates were also taken to a visit to BiotechCorp as part of an overview on how intellectual property administered by the government of Malaysia.
