Strategic Planning Meeting
 
MyIPO’s 2011 Strategic Planning Meeting was held on the 8th and 9th January 2011 at Malacca. The purpose of this
meeting is to present the achievements for the year 2010 and to set the target for MyIPO’s Annual Tasks Strategies for the year 2011.

The 2011’s action plan includes improving service delivery systems by reducing pendency period for processing patents and trademarks. MyIPO will also enhance its awareness programmes by conducting seminars and workshops which focuses on SMEs, women, children and youth.

Other action plan initiative is establishing customer relations management is to set up 3 new branches in Kuantan, Johor Bharu and Sungai Petani. MyIPO is also targeting to become the first International Search Authority (ISA) in the ASEAN Region. Besides, MyIPO will establish Strategic Partnership to focus on the IP-Valuation.

With the implementation of the 2011 action plan, it is hoped that MyIPO will become more competitive and recognized as one of the leading intellectual property office in the world.
