World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has visited Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) from 2^nd March to 4^th March 2011 to assist MyIPO in formulating an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Strategic Plan. The mission was led by Mr. William Meredith, Director of Infrastructure Modernization Division and accompanied by Mr. Juneho Hang, Mr.Gregory Sadyalunda, Mr. Hiroo Takaki and Mr. Atsushi Kimura.

The session began with the welcoming remarks by Deputy Director General, Mr.Mohd Shahar Osman, followed by briefing on overview of MyIPO and its current status of ICT by Puan Sharifah Nadiah and Puan Nurzatunnafiza.

The mission has also determined the scope of WIPO’s assistance, discuss possible areas of technical cooperation between the two Organizations to assist MyIPO in developing its ICT Systems.
