| INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY DAY OF JOHOR STATE LEVEL | |

17 November 2011 – MyIPO in cooperation with the Johor Branch Office of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism (DTCC), Ministry of DTCC have organized Intellectual Property Day of Johor State Level at Batu Pahat which focused on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
The half day seminar provides information on the importance of protecting intellectual which includes patent, trade mark, industrial design, copyright as well as on the enforcement IP rights. The presentations were presented by MyIPO's officers and MDTCC which was attended by 220 participants from SMEs and students from higher learning institutions.
The objective of this seminar is to increase the level of understanding and to disseminate more information on intellectual property to the local community.
The Closing Ceremony of Intellectual Property Day of Johor State Level was officiated by YB Hoo Seong Chang, the State Tourism, Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Committee Chairman.
