STUDY VISIT BY UNIVERSITY KEBANGSAAN MALAYSIA
25 November 2011- A group of 15 students from the Law Faculty, University Kebangsaan Malaysia made a visit to MyIPO.
The study visit aimed to expose the students to intellectual property (IP) legislation and system in Malaysia, which help them to gain better understanding about intellectual property rights.
A detailed presentation on IP System was presented by Mr.Redzuan Ali, Senior Patent Examiner while Mr.Abdul Aziz Ismail, Senior Director of Trade Mark Division, gave a briefing on trade mark system in Malaysia.
This was later followed by a tour to the Intellectual Property Library and Public Search Facility.
