STUDY VISIT BY UiTM DUNGUN, TERENGGANU
1 December 2011- A group of 38 students from the Faculty of Science Computer and Mathematic, University Teknology Mara, Dungun Terengganu accompanied by a lecturer made a visit to MyIPO.
The study visit aimed to expose the students to intellectual property (IP) legislation and system in Malaysia, which help them to gain better understanding about intellectual property rights.
A detailed presentation on The Role and Function of MyIPO “Issue and Challenge” was presented by Mrs. Suraya Muhamad, Patent Examiner while Mr. Azahar Abdul Razab, Trade Mark Registrar gave a briefing on IP System in Malaysia.
This was later followed by a tour to the Intellectual Property Library, Counter and Public Search Facility.
