FAREWELL CEREMONY OF SECRETARY GENERAL OF MDTCC |

20 December 2011 - MyIPO has organized a farewell ceremony for YBhg Datuk Mohd Zain bin Mohd Dom, Secretary General
of Ministry of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism who will retire on 26 December 2011.

The ceremony was intended to show appreciation on his contributions especially in the international negotiations. It was based on his vast experiences during his attachment at Permanent Malaysian Missions Office to European Union (EU) and Permanent Malaysian Missions Office to World Trade Organization (WTO) Geneva, Switzerland for more than 15 years.
YBhg Dato’ Azizan Mohamad Sidin conveyed his appreciation to YBhg Datuk KSU for his presence to the farewell ceremony.
In YBhg Datuk KSU’s speech, he advised MyIPO staff to think ahead of MyIPO’s goals and achievements for year 2020 in order to establish MyIPO as one of the leading IP offices and become a benchmark to other countries. He also emphasised that achievement should grow in line with time and technology.
He ended his speech by advising the staff to respect each other at every level in the organization and wish every success in MyIPO’s future endeavours.
