COURTESY VISIT BY MALAYSIA DESIGN COUNCIL
31 January 2012- MyIPO received a courtesy visit by Malaysia Design Council (MRM) delegation headed by Mrs Futom binti Shikh Jaafar, Senior General Manager of MRM, and accompanied by Mrs Rozita binti Abdul Razak, Senior Executive of International Networking and Design Policy.
The delegation was welcomed by YBhg Dato’ Azizan Mohamad Sidin, Director General of MyIPO and officials of Industrial Design Division.
In the course of warm and productive discussions, proposals were raised to explore the possibility of joint programme between MyIPO and MRM. Members of delegation were considering the collaboration programme for National Intellectual Property Award’s promotional activities in conjunction with the National Intellectual Property Day 2012.

The visit reflected MyIPO and MRM’s initiative to step up bilateral relations for the development of Industrial Design in Malaysia.
