YBHG. DATU DR. HAJAH RASHIDAH BINTI BOLHASSAN

YBhg. Datu Dr. Hajah Rashidah binti Bolhassan was appointed as a Member of the Malaysian Intellectual Property Corporation (MyIPO) on 22 April 2022.

She holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Victoria Business School, Victoria University of Wellington New Zealand in 2018, Executive MBA, Ohio University USA in 1997, Master in Library Science, Syracuse University, USA in 1986 and Bachelor in Library Science, MARA Institute of Technology, Malaysia in 1984.

YBhg. Datu Dr. Hajah Rashidah was voted as Chair for Council of State Library Directors, Malaysia, in 2006 – 2009, and again in 2013 till 2020. She was appointed as a Member of Sarawak State’s Women Council (MWKS), elected as President of Librarians Association of Malaysia (PPM) 2020-2022, and voted as a Member of IFLA’s Reading and Literacy Standing Committee (2017-2022). She is also one of the corresponding members of IFLA Indigenous Matters Section.
