64TH ANNUAL MEETING OF THE WORLD INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ORGANIZATION (WIPO) IN GENEVA, SWITZERLAND

4 July 2023 – MyIPO’s Deputy Director-General, Mr. Kamal Kormin, represented Malaysia at the 64th Annual Meeting of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland. During the conference, he delivered a statement and shared Malaysia’s successes in addressing challenges to strengthen the national intellectual property ecosystem.

He also expressed Malaysia’s commitment to promote the use of intellectual property among local women entrepreneurs in line with this year’s National Intellectual Property Day theme, “Women and Intellectual Property.” MyIPO will assist these entrepreneurs in protecting their intellectual property and sharing the benefits of owning intellectual property to grow their businesses.
