2. MyIPO, EUROPEAN PATENT OFFICE AND JAPAN PATENT OFFICE SIGN MoU TO PURSUE COLLABORATION ON IP SYSTEMS AND PRACTICES
BRIEFING ON THE INTRODUCTION AND MATTERS RELATED TO FRAUD, 21 FEBRUARY 2017
21 February 2017 (Tuesday) – MyIPO held a briefing on the introduction and matters related to Fraud to employees of MyIPO. The purpose of this briefing is to disseminate knowledge and awareness to employees with regards to issues related to fraud including the financial irregularities in organizations.
The briefing was given by Mr. Johari bin Ismail, Head of Internal Audit Division, Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) and was attended by YBhg Dato’ Shamsiah Kamaruddin, Director General together with her two Deputy’s Director General, Senior Directors and Heads of Divisions of MyIPO.
DG’s in her welcoming remarks emphasized integrity, transparency and honesty to MyIPO’s employees in carrying out their daily tasks as to avoid misuse, irregularities and what is more serious in fraud and corruption.
