COURTESY VISIT FROM CHINA-ASIA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (CAEDA) AND TRADE PARTNER THE CHINA TRADEMARK ASSOCIATION (CTA)

On 23rd May 2023 MyIPO received a courtesy call and held a discussion session with China-Asia Economic Development Association (CAEDA) Malaysia and trade partner The China Trademark Association (CTA) to discuss cooperation, development and direction planning of intellectual property in Malaysia. The CAEDA delegation was represented by Mr. John Zhang (Vice Chairman, Culture and Education Development Committee), while CTA was represented by Mr. Dongping Wu (Secretary-General of the China Trademark Association). The Director General of MyIPO, Tuan Abdul Haris Lakar chaired the bilateral discussion session. Also present Mr. Lai Soo Kor, Executive President of CAEDA, Assistant Director General (Planning & Business Development), Tuan Sheikh Ariffin Sheikh Mohd Noor and senior officials of MyIPO. The delegation was also taken to visit the facilities at Menara MyIPO.
