KUNJUNGAN HORMAT KE MAJLIS DAERAH TANAH MERAH, KELANTAN

20 Februari 2024 – Delegasi MyIPO yang diketuai oleh Timbalan Ketua Pengarah (Strategik & Teknikal), YBrs. Puan Yusnieza Syarmila Yusoff, telah mengadakan kunjungan hormat ke Majlis Daerah Tanah Merah, Kelantan. Sesi mesyuarat ini telah dipengerusikan oleh Yang Mulia Tengku Zarir bin Tengku Abdul Rahim, Setiausaha Majlis Daerah Tanah Merah untuk membincangkan tentang potensi pendaftaran Durian Raja Kunyit Tanah Merah sebagai Petunjuk Geografi. Turut diadakan lawatan ke kebun Durian Kunyit Tanah Merah bertempat di Pulau Raya Tanah Merah.
Hadir sama YBrs. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Julie Juliewatty binti Mohamed, Pengarah Kanan Pusat Pengurusan Penyelidikan dan Inovasi, serta YBrs. Dr. Wee Seng Kew, Pensyarah Kanan, Fakulti Biokejuruteraan dan Teknologi UMK dan Encik Razhuan Hussin, Penolong Ketua Pengarah (Pentadbiran dan Kewangan) MyIPO.

COURTESY VISIT TO THE TANAH MERAH DISTRICT COUNCIL, KELANTAN

20 February 2024 – A delegation from MyIPO led by the Deputy Director General (Strategic & Technical), Mrs. Yusnieza Syarmila Yusoff, paid a courtesy visit to the Tanah Merah District Council, Kelantan. This meeting session was chaired by the Honorable Tengku Zarir bin Tengku Abdul Rahim, Secretary of the Tanah Merah District Council, to discuss the potential registration of the Tanah Merah Raja Kunyit Durian as a Geographical Indication. A visit to the Tanah Merah Kunyit Durian orchard located at Pulau Raya Tanah Merah was also conducted.
Also present were Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Julie Juliewatty binti Mohamed, Senior Director of the Research and Innovation Management Centre, as well as Dr. Wee Seng Kew, Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Bioengineering and Technology UMK, and Mr. Razhuan Hussin, Assistant Director General (Administration and Finance) of MyIPO.
