LAWATAN KE BENGKEL SONGKET DAN BATIK
| 20 Februari 2024 – Semasa lawatan kerja MyIPO ke Kelantan, MyIPO juga berkesempatan mengadakan lawatan ke Bengkel Songket dan Batik melalui Malaysia Craft Council di Negeri Kelantan. Dalam usaha memelihara dan mempromosikan keunikan seni tradisional ini, MyIPO menyelidik potensi untuk mendaftarkannya sebagai petunjuk geografi negeri, memastikan warisan berharga ini terus dikenali dan dihargai di peringkat antarabangsa. |
| Lawatan ini telah diketuai oleh Timbalan Ketua Pengarah (Strategik & Teknikal), Puan Yusnieza Syarmila Yusoff. Hadir sama, Encik Razhuan Hussin, Penolong Ketua Pengarah (Pentadbiran dan Kewangan) dan Encik Ryzul Osman Basah, Pegawai Harta Intelek, Bahagian Cap Dagangan dan Petunjuk Geografi. |
VISIT TO THE SONGKET AND BATIK WORKSHOP
| 20 February 2024 – During MyIPO’s working visit to Kelantan, MyIPO also had the opportunity to visit the Songket and Batik Workshop through the Malaysia Craft Council in the state of Kelantan. In an effort to preserve and promote the uniqueness of this traditional art, MyIPO explored the potential to register it as a geographical indication of the state, ensuring that this valuable heritage continues to be recognized and appreciated internationally. |
| The visit was led by the Deputy Director General (Strategic & Technical), Ms. Yusnieza Syarmila Yusoff. Also present were Mr. Razhuan Hussin, Assistant Director General (Administration and Finance), and Mr. Ryzul Osman Basah, Intellectual Property Officer, Trademark and Geographical Indication Division. |
