2. MyIPO, EUROPEAN PATENT OFFICE AND JAPAN PATENT OFFICE SIGN MoU TO PURSUE COLLABORATION ON IP SYSTEMS AND PRACTICES
MEET & GREET WITH FRIENDLY MEDIA
29 November 2017 – Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) has organized the Meet & Greet with Friendly Media Programme to recognize the role of the media in delivering news and issues on intellectual property.
According to Dato ‘Shamsiah Kamaruddin, Director General of MyIPO, this program is to strengthen cooperation between MyIPO and the media. This indirectly encourages the writing and dissemination of accurate information on intellectual property among the media practitioners.
Dato ‘Shamsiah also shared with the media on the initiatives of MyIPO, which among others aimed at raising intellectual property awareness among Malaysians in the vision of becoming a developed nation. These initiatives include the Technology Innovation Support Center (TISC), IP Easy, IP Funtastic, IP Summer Camp, Intellectual Property Management System and Madrid Protocol.
In appreciation of the media’s role in MyIPO’s achievements, the media were treated to an evening of good food, lucky draws and warm company.
