2. MyIPO, EUROPEAN PATENT OFFICE AND JAPAN PATENT OFFICE SIGN MoU TO PURSUE COLLABORATION ON IP SYSTEMS AND PRACTICES
26 April 2022 – This year, the National Intellectual Property Day 2022’s theme is “Innovative Youths, the Malaysian Family Aspirations”.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said, National Intellectual Property Day 2022 is an opportunity for youths to learn how intellectual property can support their goals, help turn their ideas into reality, generate income, create jobs and positively impact the world around them.
“Youths hold the key to the country’s future. As a multi-racial society that is rapdly moving towards building a united Malaysian Family, the country relies heavily on active, creative and progressive youths, “he said in a special speech in conjunction with the National Intellectual Property Day 2022 celebration through a video uploaded on MyIPO Facebook page today.
Apart from that, the Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs, Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi also invited the youths to innovate and explore the opportunities in order to boost their capabilities and the country’s progress.
The National Intellectual Property Day 2022 was organized by Intellectual Property Corporation (MyIPO) as one of the efforts to raise public awareness on the importance of intellectual property protection and respect for intellectual property rights.
